In the summer of 2005 the Albany Church of Christ began helping the Johnstown Church of Christ with the support of a youth ministry. Since that time we have expanded our missions outreach program to this sister congregation with the assistance of their evangelism and outreach program. The Albany Church of Christ has been supporting the AIM program for many years.  We have a long history of hosting AIM teams at Albany as well as supporting AIM members in other missions around the world.  Our missions minded congregation continues to support AIM and looks forward to expanding this mission field.

The Adventures in Missions program is a chance to make a difference in the world. As part of the Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX, AIM is an apprentice missions program for college-age young people. It is a focused effort by and for Christian young men and women to work together to strengthen the church and bring the lost to Christ.

Another area the Albany Church of Christ has been active over the years in the mission field is through great schools that have been training men to minister in the area of preaching the Gospel.  The Sunset International Bible Institute, the hosting organization for the AIM program is one fine example with whom the Albany Congregation has been active for many years.  The Albany missions program has supported men in training and expanded our support as they moved into the missions fields around the world.
